  • On June 2th, the 13th “Challenge Cup” China Construction Bank College Student Entrepreneurship Plan Competition in Zhejiang Province was concluded at the Zhejiang A&F University. Among the 38 participating projects of our university, 8 won the gold prizes, 16 won the silver prizes, and 10 won the bronze prizes. WMU won the Outstanding Organization Award.

The competition was divided into five categories: technological innovation and future industries, rural revitalization and modernization in agricultural and rural areas, urban governance and social services, ecological environmental protection and sustainable development, along with cultural creativity and regional cooperation. After heated contests, the project “‘sprouting teeth’, the world’s first regeneration factor gel for alveolus defect” of the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences and seven other projects won the gold prizes.

Since its launch last November, the competition has received the attention and support from university leaders at all levels and attracted a majority of students to join. Cheng Jinguo, the deputy secretary of the WMU Party committee, and Jin Shengwei, vice president of the university, gave the teams guidance and encouragement during the preparation of the competition. All participating teams were calm and imperturbable to take the challenge, and played their ability to the fullest, demonstrating the morale of WMU students.

This competition is jointly hosted by the Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the Communist Youth League, Zhejiang Provincial Education Department, Zhejiang Academy of Social Sciences, Zhejiang Association for Science and Technology, and the Students’ Federation of Zhejiang Province.
