From June 18th to June 20th, the third China-Central and Eastern European Countries Health Ministers’Forum was held in Budapest, Hungary. Liu Yandong, vice president of Chinese departments, Semjénháza, vice president of Hungary, together with health officials of other countries attended the forum.They focused on five themes which are health policies, public health cooperation, hospital cooperation, traditional Chinese medicine and health industry, shared and communicated about development advantages on ideas, practice, products and so on from party to party, which promoted the development strategies of each country and the rejointment of One Belt and One Road.
During the forum, the organizing committee set a special exhibition area for universities at the meeting venue, where 9 universities from China as well as Central and Eastern Europe were displayed. As the only university from China on display, Wenzhou Medical University caught the attention from all parties. Leaders and guests from each country visited the exhibition area, and preliminarily grasped the general information.The attendees stopped at the exhibition stand of WMU and consulted about it, meanwhile, several European universities showed their interest in collaborating with WMU in educating and scientific research, hoping to enhance the connection and communication between both parties in the future, and wish to promote the substantial progress in collaboration.
During the exhibition, several alumni who have been working in Hungary for many years showed the WMU exhibition area by coincidence. They were proud of the progress and achievement university had gained, hoping to build a bridge for cooperation and communication between WMU and Hungarian universities and research institutions.
