From October 12th to 15th, the finals of the 7th China International College Students’ “Internet+” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition were held at Nanchang University. The participating teams of Wenzhou Medical University won two gold awards and seven silver awards. The number of its gold awards ranked first nationally among independent medical colleges and universities for three consecutive years. Besides, WMU won the college collective award of the "Youth Red Dream Building Journey" track, and the total number of awards set a record in the history of the school.

Project Introduction: Relying on the professional resources of Wenzhou Medical University and the national top orthopedics platform of the Second Affiliated Hospital, the "Thumb-up" Charity Center for Children with Congenital Limb Deformities focuses precisely on the needs of children with congenital deformities in underdeveloped areas, and pioneered the "Thumb-up Mode" for the prevention and treatment of congenital deformities. Through the "double-layer promotion model", the project provides treatment physically and mentally. The light of Life-the pioneer of the new thinking of organ donation in China

Project Introduction: The project takes "focusing on youth, radiating family" as its path, and features “artistic communication” and “ritualized signature”. For example, the project created the first "Yesha Planetary System" cartoon, provided humanistic care for organ donation families, initiated to include consent for organ donations into the electronic medical insurance card, which has been applied and promoted provincially, and helped to put the popularization of organ donation into the new edition of Zhejiang’s teaching material Human · Nature · Society. The China International "Internet +" College Students’ “Internet+” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition has been successfully held for seven sessions. This year’s competition focuses on three special time and space backgrounds: the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the strategic starting point for entering a new development stage, and the first time to hold the competition in an old revolutionary base area. With "Brave, Creative as I Can Be" as the theme and “more national, more international, more educational, more comprehensive and more innovative” as the goal, the competition actively participates in the global wave of innovation and entrepreneurship and has received wide attention and extensive participation from the whole society. A total of 4347 colleges and universities from 121 countries and regions, more than 2.28 million projects, and more than 9.56 million people signed up for the competition. The world's top 100 universities such as Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard, Yale, and Massachusetts, all sent high-level teams to participate, which further improved the global influence of the competition.
