The 2020 Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) is released today by ShanghaiRanking Consultancy, the world's leading higher education evaluation institution. The ranking shows the world's leading 1,000 research universities. There are 144 universities in the Chinese Mainland on the list. Wenzhou Medical University is ranked between 501 and 600 in the world, up 100 places from last year.
In the ranking published this time, 18 medical universities in the Chinese Mainland, including Capital Medical University, Peking Union Medical College, Nanjing Medical University, Southern Medical University, and Wenzhou Medical University, are on the list. Our school is ranked 5th among national medical universities.
There are seven universities in Zhejiang province on the list, namely Zhejiang University, Wenzhou Medical University, Zhejiang University of Technology, Hangzhou Dianzi University, Ningbo University, Zhejiang Normal University, and Zhejiang Sci-Tech University. Our school takes the second place in the province.
