    Introduction of lecturer:HuGuMiaoFen,an assistantprofessorin Boston Medical College of Tufts University, graduated from WMU in 1985 and attained her doctoral degree in biochemistry from Boston University. Dr. Hu serves as a post-doctoral researcher in Carcinomatous Biology in Harvard University from 2000 to 2003. Since 2004, Dr.Hu has become an assistant professorin Medicine College of Tufts University. During her postdoctoral years, Dr.Huhas successfully established 7 kinds of mutant mice models for the first time on the global scale, a milestone in CDK6 field even for science. Besides Dr.Hu also found CDK6 as one of the new therapeutic targets for acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL). Given her contribution, Dr.Hu was promoted as the assistant professora nd researcher in Boston Medical College of Tufts University and eventually owned her lab. It is these animal models that help to confirm the practicality of CDK6 as a brand new therapeutic target for treating all obesity-related metabolic diseases. So far, Dr.Hu has possessed an international patent and moreover, published 21 pieces of theses inCell、Cancer Cell、Cancer Research、BloodandLeukemiawhich has been cited for over 1000 times.
