  • President Li Xiaokun invited to attend the 2019 Annual Meeting of China-Russia Medical University Alliance Council and Summit on China-Russia International Medical Science and Technology Innovation and Cooperation and Made Report
  • On January 17th, the 2019 Annual Meeting of China-Russia Medical University Alliance Council and the Summit on China-Russia International Medical Science and Technology Innovation and Cooperation, sponsored by China-Russia Medical University Alliance Council and hosted by Guangdong Pharmaceutical University, was held in Guangdong Pharmaceutical University. President Li Xiaokun  attended the meeting and made a report.

    With the theme of“Integration ,Innovation and Synergy”, the conference brought together hundreds of experts from more than 10 countries and regions, including China, Russia and Canada, and demonstrated the important progress made in the areas of talent training, academic exchanges, medical cooperation and technology transformation under the framework of the China-Russia Medical University Alliance in 2018. Fellowship of Chinese Academy of Engineering Yang Baofeng, vice president and general secretary of World Federation of Associations Li Zhenji, fellowship of the Chinese Academy of Engineering Cheng Jing, fellowship of the Chinese Academy of Engineering Huang Luqi, fellowship of the Chinese Academy of Engineering Lin Dongxin, fellowship of the Chinese Academy of Engineering Tian Zhigang attended the meeting.

    At the China-Russia International Medical Education President Forum, Prof. Li Xiaokun made a thematic report entitled “From Laboratory to Clinical--Study on the integration of growth factor pharmacy ”. Focusing on the medical innovative talents training, Prof. Li Xiaokun introduced the ideas and experiences of pharmacy development in Wenzhou Medical University(WMU) from the aspects of discipline construction, scientific research innovation, talent training, industry development, international cooperation, opportunities and challenges comprehensively. Other experts from China and Russia also carried out in-depth exchanges on basic, clinical, pharmacological efficacy, medical talent training, pharmaceutical industry, modernization of traditional Chinese medicine, integrated pharmacy and so on.

    Founded in July 2014, China-Russia Medical University Alliance is a non-governmental organization jointly launched by the top medical universities in China and Russia. The Alliance has become the biggest cooperative alliance with the widest range of cooperation of universities in China and Russia. The number of members increase to 108 at present. WMU became a member of China-Russia Medical University Alliance in December, 2014.
