  • WMU signed a cooperation agreement with University of North Texas Health Science Center
  • On March 22nd, Professor JOHNNY J. HE, Dean of the College of Biomedical Sciences, University of North Texas Health Science Center(UNTHSC), visited Wenzhou Medical University (WMU). WMU Vice President Wang Liangxing and relevant officials from the International Affair Office, the Office of Science and Technology, School of the 1st Clinical Medical Sciences attended the meeting and had discussion.

    During the meeting, Vice President Wang, on behalf of WMU, expressed a warm welcome to Professor He and briefed him on WMU’s basic information. Professor He paid tribute to the academic and research achievements. The two sides held in-depth talks about common-interested disciplines, such as biomedicine, clinical medicine, rehabilitation, radiology and reached consensus on cooperation in faculty exchanges, joint cultivation of postgraduates, and short/long term student exchange programs before signing a cooperation agreement.

    Professor He also visited the Human Body Museum and the First Affiliated Hospital of WMU.

    University of North Texas(UNT, founded in 1890, is a leading university in the north area of state of Texas , and it is also one of the largest public research universities in USA with 13 colleges, nearly 38000 students, and ranks 501-600 in TIMES World University Rankings in 2018.) The UNTHSC is a comprehensive graduate school, which is comprised with institutions such as biomedical, public health school, health professional school, etc. It provides degrees of osteopathic medicine, pharmacy, physical therapy, physician assistant study and biomedical science, etc. Now, it has more than 2000 postgraduates.
