Professor Lu Fan, one of the founders of China’s optometry specialty, has long been engaged in teaching ophthalmology and optometry, scientific research and clinical practice. She innovatively put forward the arguments of the dual nature of the eye "biology" and "optics" and has solved many technical bottlenecks of structural imaging and functional imaging in eyeball imaging. She also discovered the scleral signal pathway and its transmission material in myopia as well as established the clinical research model of functional myopia. In recent years, she has presided over more than 20 scientific research projects such as the national key R&D program and national major science and technology instrument special subject. Besides, she has published more than 80 papers in international authoritative SCI magazines such as PNAS, and has been awarded the second prize of national scientific and technological progress as the principal person in charge, and obtained the first prize of the Chinese Medical Science and Technology Award as the responsible person, as well as in the selection of young and middle-aged experts with outstanding contributions from the Ministry of Health, the young and middle-aged experts with outstanding contributions in Zhejiang Province, and the first-level candidate for the 151 Talent Project in Zhejiang Province, etc., enjoying special allowances from the State Council.
Professor Chen Hao had a long career in applied research of ophthalmology and visual science, which formed a series of research results with independent intellectual property rights and international advanced level, and carried out effective transformation and promotion. In recent years, he has presided over five projects including major national science and technology support projects, as well as national and international science and technology cooperation key project. What’s more, he has published over 50 papers in internationally renowned SCI journals such as Biomaterials Science; he has obtained a number of granted invention patents as the first inventor, and the transformed result has been awarded seven SFDA product certifications, which made him selected in the New Century Excellent Talent Support Program by the Ministry of Education, as the youth leading talents in scientific and technological innovation in the Ministry of Science and Technology's Innovative Talents Promotion Program, and the first-level candidate for the 151 Talent Project in Zhejiang Province.
Professor Zhou Mengtao has undertaken the teaching, research and clinical practice of pancreatic disease for a long time and has been committed to the research of new techniques for the diagnosis and treatment of severe pancreatitis and pancreatic cancer. In recent years, he has presided over four national-level projects, won the first prize of the Chinese Medical Science and Technology Award as the responsible person, the first prize of the Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award, the second prize of the Ministry of Education for Science and Technology Progress Award, etc. In addition, he has published more than 70 papers collected by the SCI; selected in National Talents Engineering, National Young and Middle-aged Expert with outstanding contributions, the National Health Family Planning Young and Middle-aged Expert with outstanding contributions, the Provincial Young and Middle-aged Expe with outstanding contributions, and the first-level candidate for the 151 Talent Project in Zhejiang Province, etc., enjoying special allowances from the State Council.
Researcher Huang Zhaoxin has long been engaged in researching on innovation and entrepreneurship education. Over the past few years, he has been in charge of 5 national-level projects, and obtained 13 provincial awards as a social science award from the Ministry of Education. He has issued more than 70 papers on SSCI and CSSCI source journals, and published 5 monographs on "Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Research Series"; the candidate of National Talents Engineering, national young and middle-aged expert with great contributions, the Yangtze River Scholar Award Program, New Century Talents Support Program of the Ministry of Education, etc., enjoying special allowances from the State Council.
Professor Chen Gang has long been engaged in the basic work of hepatobiliary surgery and gastrointestinal cancers. He has provided a "gene map of liver cancer" for each hepatic cancer patient to achieve individualized precision medical treatment. He has presided over 5 projects above the provincial level and published 11 articles in international authoritative and well-known SCI journals such as Cancer Research.
“Ten Thousand Talent Plan” is a special support program for high-level talents in Zhejiang Province. From 2017, the plan will take a decade to select and support a number of high-level talents specialized in natural science, engineering technologies, philosophy and social sciences, as well as economy and finance management in the province, among which the provincial level supports a group of outstanding talents, leading talents and youth top-notch talents. It puts in motion the province to form a special support plan for ten thousand high-level talents, and builds a team construction system of high-level innovation and entrepreneurial talents associated with overseas high-level talents introduction plan.
